This year the event was devoted to the actual topic for the ecology and it brought the original name „ECOuture”. The newest tendencies in „the dog’s” fashion are – the ecological materials and the green color.

During the week of the fashion for pets in New York the most famous world brands for clothes for animals presented a wide assortment of clothes, accessories, leashes, toys, beds, perfumes, food, hackles and many others luxurious articles for the pets. This untraditional fashion show is an unusual platform also for the designers. There they have the possibility to show their original ideas in the circle of the animal accessories and clothes. During the week of the fashion for animals were bestowed many awards as to the marched by dogs and cats, as to the most provocative and original designers. The gathered funds from the bought tickets during the fashion week were donated with charity aim to „NYC’s Animals”.

In this year’s spectacle participated 14 fashion designers, as every one of them had to present five ready clothes and one model haute couture. For the more effect presentation of the pets at the stage with them marched by professional models, dressed in toilet of the same design. Special cares were taken even of the smallest details at the beauty of the fluffy favorites – they had wigs, varnished nails, special perfume etc.
