SANYA BORISOVA AND VERONIKA STEFANOVA IN A PHOTO SHOOT FOR BLINK
Silviya Todorova
Designer Radoslava Lazarova presents the Womanity Prom 2019 collection Actress Sanya Borisova shines with the formal dresses of the talented designer Radoslava Lazarova. In the sophisticated interior of the National Opera and Ballet, she participated in a photo shoot with dresses from the latest collection of fashion house "Blink". The actress partnered with the top model Veronika Stefanova and together, in front of photographer Ivomir Peshev's lens, they presented the creations of the young designer.
Included in the photo shoot are proposals from the Womanity Prom 2019 collection by fashion house "Blink". Specific to it are the unique author's laces, designed by Radoslava Lazarova. The current trend that the designer develops in the collection is the spectacular, transparent details. On them Radoslava Lazarova pays special attention, shaping the transparent elements in complex constructions. They can be seen in some of the dresses Sanya Borisova wore for the photo shoot. Among the most impressive in the collection is a red dress - a combination of two silhouettes in one, where interesting structural cuts and transparent elements are combined with 3D hand-made floral decoration and rich ornaments of pearls and crystals. Sanya Borisova poses with a black dress with shades of silver, graphite and ecru, pearl-covered. The asymmetric skirt with structural transparent elements is combined with a bustier with a hand-made embossment of crystals, feathers and beads. Among the "Blink" dresses, with which actress Sanya Borisova shines, are three in the feminine silhouette of a "mermaid" with beautiful slats and the colors are mocha, gold, body and powder.
One of them is the dress that Sanya Borisova chose for the official ceremony at the beautiful Chigi Palace in Ariccia, Italy where she received the Best Actress Award. The dress with baroque motifs and decoration of hand-made crystals in the color of citrine stone is specially selected by Radoslava Lazarova, according to the interior of the palace.
Asymmetry, different lengths and multi-layered skirts from spectacular transparent fabrics are also characteristic for the Womanity Prom 2019 collection by Blink Fashion House.
They are present in the design of the dresses selected for the top model Veronika Stefanova. The bordo dress with the "princess" silhouette features asymmetrical embossed lace with pearls, crystals and a corset with spectacular feathers. Also interesting is the "naked dress", covered with crystals with translucent transparent materials in body, graphite and powder.
Hand-made decoration of graphite crystals of different shapes and sizes follows the curves of the female body and silhouette of the "mermaid" type. Veronika Stefanova poses with another version of the so called "naked dress" - shorter with a distinct lush track. The decoration is again hand-made with graphite crystals, and the combination of colors includes: black, graphite and body. The strong asymmetry in another one of Radoslava Lazarova’s dresses highlights the interesting blend of flowing colors - dark blue, royal blue and teal color. The artistic youthful dress is a princess with a deep V-neckline, bare back and decorated with 3D transparent, hand-made flowers.

Silviya Todorova
Weddings are increasing in the traditional Bulgarian style The Embassy of Morocco presents exotic wedding traditions The 11th edition of Bulgaria's largest wedding exhibition - Balkanica Wedding & Honeymoon Expo 2019 - will be held on 19 and 20 January 2019 in Sofia Hotel Balkan. Traditionally at the beginning of the year, the event attracts the interest of couples who are going to have a wedding and within two days they meet with different representatives of the branch. The exhibition organizer is ExpoLine Ltd. - represented by Aneta Peny and Irini Batzaka.
At an official press conference on the occasion, the most important and up-to-date highlights of this year's edition of the exhibition were presented. For the first time Balkanica Wedding & Honeymoon Expo 2019 presents a Moroccan wedding courtesy of the Embassy of Morocco in Sofia. Ms. Aneta Peny, publisher of the Wedding Magazine, co-publisher of the Diplomatic Spectrum magazine and exhibition organizer, announced that an embassy partnership for the event was being done for the first time, but they are planning to turn it into a tradition and every year will present the wedding traditions in the culture of different countries. She remarked that: "More resolute brides can still organize a large part of their wedding in special conditions with discounts from exhibitors within the two-day exhibition."
A special guest at the press conference was HE. Ms. Zakia El Midaoui, ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Bulgaria, who spoke about Moroccan traditions when organizing a wedding. Jean Jadidi, an exhibitor, a florist from Mr. Garden, presented the trends in flower decorations. Prof. Lubomir Stoykov, President of the Academy of Fashion, was the head of the press conference and commented on the wedding dresses that were shown.
During the press conference for Balkanica Wedding & Honeymoon Expo 2019, traditional Moroccan takchita’s were shown with which the brides dress as well as the famous Moroccan caftans were demonstrated. The takchita’s are hand-woven with gold and silver threads, made of fine silk, lace and velvet, adorned with Swarovski stones and other semi-precious stones. Guests also touched on Moroccan culture by tasting Moroccan tea and delicious sweets.
Selected bridal gowns from her latest collections showed: fashion house "Blink" with designer Radoslava Lazarova, Mille Bridal, Victoria Bridal, House of Hats with designers Irina and Georgi Sardarevi, fashion house "Odeta" with designer Valeria Lazarcheva and wedding boutique "Alegra" with designers Galia Dolapchieva and Radostina Ilieva. The designer Radoslava Lazarova also summarized some of the leading trends: different lengths of the dresses, asymmetry, solved details, flats, superimposition of transparent fabrics, boots, corsets and bare shoulder, emphasizing femininity, accent on sleeves, 3D floral motifs, geometric elements.
The color combinations are all known to date: white, ivory, light ecru or champagne, as well as the use of a fabric with a bodily or tender pastel shade under the basic color. The silhouettes are varied - A line, "mermaid", type "princess" and high waist dresses, and dresses two in one. Matte satin, duo, chiffon, tulle, as well as their silk variants, of course, and the lace. At the press conference, Aneta Peny said that the traditional Bulgarian style weddings were greatly expanded and folk costumes and stylized variants were looking for them. These weddings are most desirable in mixed marriages and by Bulgarians who live abroad, but make their weddings in Bulgaria, in towns like Zheravna and Koprivshtitsa.
During the exhibition there will be a separate stand, which will present the Bulgarian customs and traditions as a comparison with those of Morocco. A total of 50 leading companies in the wedding industry are going to present their products.
Regarding the floral decoration, Jean Jadidi said the most popular are spring flowers, aromatic freesia, rose and, in particular, spray roses. For the Bulgarian weddings, the geranium is preferred as a symbol of health. Greener trends are green trends, which are made with more greenery. Classical white is always present, but many are looking for delicate pastel colors, such as pale pink and purple. The combination of red and green in flowers is preferred especially for weddings in traditional Bulgarian style.
The Balkanica Wedding & Honeymoon Expo 2019 also supports the Pink Foundation, founded by Albena Krusheva in the town of Tran, where interest groups for children from socially-impaired families are held. Their works will be included in the event with a separate booth. All visitors will have the opportunity to try their luck by participating in the lottery with many gifts and taking advantage of the big discounts that companies will make at the show. Balkanica Wedding & Honeymoon Expo 2019 can be visited on Saturday - 19.01.2019 from 11-19 pm and on Sunday - 20.01.2019 from 11-18 pm. The entrance is with invitations or a ticket from the booth at the price of 3 BGN.
